Terms & License

1. What Nibware is

Nibwareis a catalog of native SwiftUI source you copy into your own projects, plus an MCP that pulls the same components into your editor. It's source code you own - not a hosted service, SDK, or dependency. Nothing phones home, expires, or stops compiling because of us.

2. Is it free?

Yes. Browsing the catalog, copying components, and the MCP are all free to use today, subject to light fair-use limits (a few free copies a day for signed-out visitors; a free account removes the limit). We may add paid plans or features later - but anything you've already copied stays yours under the license below, permanently. We will not claw back or invalidate code you have shipped.

3. Your license to the components

Copying a first-party Nibware component grants you a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive license to:

• Use it in unlimited apps - personal or commercial, including apps you sell and client projects.
• Modify anything - rename, restyle, restructure, delete.
• Ship compiled binaries to the App Store or anywhere else, with no attribution required.

What the license does not allow:

• Redistributing the catalog as source - you may not resell, republish, open-source, or bulk-export Nibware's components as source code to build a competing UI kit, template, or component library.
• Scraping - no automated bulk extraction of the catalog.
• Training data - you may not use the catalog to train or fine-tune a model whose purpose is generating UI components for others.

Client work is fine: deliver an app that contains the code - just don't hand over, or resell, the catalog itself. Community-submitted components are made available under the more permissive MIT license (see below).

4. The MCP

The NibwareMCP server is provided free and rate-limited. Please don't hammer it, resell access to it, or use it to bulk-scrape the catalog. We may change limits or require a free account for higher usage.

5. Community submissions

You can submit components you built - the prompt you used and the code it produced - for publication in the Nibware community catalog. By submitting, you confirm and agree:

• It's yours. You wrote the submission (or hold the rights to it) and it doesn't infringe anyone else's code, design, or trademark.
• You keep ownership. Your components stay yours, and your name stays on them - submissions are always attributed to your profile.
• You grant Nibware a license - perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable - to host, display, distribute, and use your submission as part of Nibware, including in future paid features, APIs, MCP servers, and AI-assisted tools.
• Users get it under MIT. Published community components are made available to other users under the MIT license.
• No payment. Community publication is free hosting with attribution, not a sale. If we introduce revenue sharing later it will be a separate, opt-in agreement.
• We moderate. Every submission is reviewed before it goes live, and we may decline or remove any submission at any time.

6. Your account

A free account lifts the copy limit and lets you like, save, and submit. Keep your credentials to yourself; you are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service (e.g. scraping or redistributing the catalog), after contacting you first unless the violation is flagrant.

7. Warranty and liability

The code is provided as is. We work hard to make it excellent - every first-party component compiles before it ships - but we don't warrant it is defect-free or fit for a particular purpose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Because Nibwareis free to use, our total liability to you is limited to USD $100. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, in which case they apply to the maximum extent permitted.

8. Trademarks

"SwiftUI", "iOS" and "App Store" are trademarks of Apple Inc. Nibwareis an independent product, not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple. Other product names and logos are the trademarks of their respective owners. If you believe a component references your brand in a way you object to, email us and we'll address it promptly.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced to account holders by email. The license covering components you have already copied stays valid as stated above.
